Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

At EncoreEvents (https://encoreevents.ca), your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information and how we protect it.

1. What We Collect

2. How We Use Your Info

3. Third-Party Services

We use affiliate programs such as Amazon Associates. Clicking these links may direct you to external sites that may use their own cookies or trackers.

Some event listings link to Eventbrite for event details, tickets, and registration. Following these links opens a separate website, where Eventbrite and the organizer may collect information you provide and technical information about your visit under their own policies. Please review Eventbrite's Privacy Policy before registering or purchasing tickets.

The Eventbrite listing import retrieves event information for display on our site; it does not send your Encore account details or saved events to Eventbrite. Images hosted by Eventbrite or other external providers may be loaded when you view a listing. Those image requests expose technical information such as your IP address to the image host or its delivery provider.

4. Affiliate Disclosure

EncoreEvents participates in affiliate programs. This means we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase through our links, at no extra cost to you.

5. Your Privacy Choices

You may request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us at info@eventsbyencore.ca.

6. Future Changes

We may update this policy if we add analytics, cookies, or new features. Any changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.

7. Local Storage & Session Storage

EncoreEvents uses your browser’s localStorage and sessionStorage to improve your experience. For example, we may store preferences like hiding popups you've already seen or remembering that you've visited the site before. This information is stored only on your device and is not sent to our servers.

These tools do not track you across other websites, and you can clear them anytime by clearing your browser’s site data.
